The quick “Google it” answer:
Lowest priced offering (7 years experience): $500 (includes fully retouched imagery)
Highest day rate offering (7 years experience): $1500 + Equipment rental (lighting, props, stands).
*Additional images outside of agreed upon amount, as well as prints increase the overall cost
When speaking with a photographer or any service provider, the conversation of price should come up as early as possible.

My Pricing
In my professional business, here is an example of my pricing structures.
Single 1.5 hour Session - $500
This is my lowest priced booking and includes a 1.5 hour session as well as a all images being retouched.
Day Rate - $1500
Otherwise known as a “creative fee”, this is my most commonly booked session as it takes away any time constraints and is the most flexible for clients on larger shoots. This comes with a set number of edited images, and additional images come at an additional fee. Equipment and gear rental costs are passed onto the client and are separate from the Day Rate.
At times I will field the question of “Do you have any discounts or promotions?”. I fully understand that monetary figures mean different things to different people, $500 to some may be unattainable while to others, it is what they spend in a day shopping for personal items online. But also imagine if your boss came and asked if you would drive into work for half of your pay, and in addition, if you could bring your own laptop, and pick up their coffee order while you’re at it.
Ok, the coffee order may be pushing it, but as a provider of services, discounting our time and equipment feels very much like this so instead, I rather do less work or reduce the number of deliverable images to match the desired price point.
If we are being bold while we are shielded by this white and black curtain, when it comes to pricing, I do not discount. In the occasion of a client asking if I would discount my services, I shift my mindset to see if I would do the work for free and have the client pay for a rental space, props, or equipment that would then adapt the photosession to become a shoot that I would want to include in my portfolio.
At the end of the day, my overall goal is to meet and/or exceed expectations and provide value and a unique experience to clients which requires a capital investment from either party.
I am in the comments down below to field any additional questions you may have so fire away!
